Today, (I wrote this 3 days ago) I received my precious new baby, a 1971 Datsun 510 2 door. Her name is Rachel. She is in decent condition for a 36 year old car but a restore is in order. She will be my project car for probably the next two years. I have high ambitions for this car: sr20det motor pushing 350hp, full roll cage, full interior + Recaro bucket seats, subie LSD differential, coilovers, wheels, etc. the whole shabang.

Current Condition of car:

No motor
Bushings have gone to hell
Missing back seat
Missing some dash controls
Missing door, trunk, and gas tank locks
Missing front and rear bumper
Needs body work in a few places
Needs a repaint
Needs new weatherstripping on all windows

I probably am leaving out a few things so please let me know if you see something.
